Some Photos that I took for my Visual Development Project
For our Visual Development Module at University we have been given the task to design an 'inspirational' book for a child - real or imaginary but it must depict a theme, subject or area we are passionate about. I chose initially to focus on Art Nouveau, but then thought - what message is this showing? Even though his Illustrations & Paintings are amazing they don't really portray a specific message. So I have decided to look at how Nature is used in art, both conciously and subconciously. I want to teach the 'child' how important the world is, how important Nature is. And how we shouldn't take it for granted as it is beautiful and a huge part of our world. In a way I have chosen to focus my project on looking at the world through different eyes and challenging perceptions.
